The manufacturer has addressed the issue, and the mattresses will be a full 74 inches in length (standard twin size). Please remember that because this is a compressed mattress, it requires 24 hours to fully expand to its actual size.

Atlantic's Unique Five-Step Finishing Process
Each product in the entire line is finished with a high-build, five-step finishing process. After a thorough sanding, a wipe-on sealer is applied, followed by a tinted sealer to even the grain and color of the wood. Additional sanding prepares the surface for the first base color coat, more sanding, and a second base color coat. After a final sanding, the finish coat is applied. This process produces a beautiful and durable finish that will last for years.
We take your family's safety seriously. That's why all of our bunk beds come with a bunkie board, slat pack, or metal grid support system. These provide complete mattress support and secure the mattress within the bunk bed frame. Please note: Bunk beds and loft beds are only to be used by children 6 years of age or older.
