This product is shipped partially assembled. Assembly is easy and requires only common household tools. Furniture will be shipped with all necessary fasteners. Assembly is a matter of minutes with easy to follow instructions. This is a cute little bench and I think is a good value for the price. It is hard to find solid wood furniture anymore and this is definitely heavy duty. It is for my boys room ages 8 and 6. They destroyed their previous toybox that was made of cardboard (shocker!) and they are thrilled with this new toy box...both of them can actually climb in and hide in this bench it is very roomy. Easy to put together...it took me a full episode of 24..but I was half working, half watching. Pretty color red...on the darker side with some blue undertones... I was expecting just a tad darker...but it works. Overall very happy with it:)
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Just got this toybox the other day. Set up was quick and easy for me to do alone (I don't consider myself to be very handy). It is just the right size to fit all the toys that are too big for our shelving but too small to sit out. I love the color too. I took off one star because there is a spot when the screw tried to come through the top of the toy box and it doesn't look as nice as it should. But overall I am very happy with it!
