Assembly was straight forward, however it was hard to tell which piece went where (two peices labeled "D", that were different in color and there was no indication as to which one went where). It's the perfect Height for my 2 year old to continue to grow into. VERY STURDY even when she tries to rock it back and forth. Perfect size for kids board books, but the shelves are too short for many of her larger books.

This bookcase is sturdier than I thought (my expectations were not high) and it is super cute. The paint job leaves a bit to be desired. The one major thing I wish was different was the width of the whole thing. The shelves seem too short in length. If the whole thing was widened out a bit, that would be better.

Best price on the web & free shipped quickly - as promised. My husband put it together in about 30 minutes. It is just gorgeous! We purchased this as a gift and for a Baby Jungle Animal themed Baby Shower Wishing Well! We asked guests to bring an unwrapped, signed baby board book.
