Don't try assembling with your child!!!

My daughter was SO excited and interested and wanted to be in the action with her dad while he put it together! Put this together when your child is not around!! It's not safe for them until fully assembled with the mattress on top of the slats! I learned my lesson. Keeping her safe was a challenge and when I took her out of the room, it led to a full blown 20month old meltdown!!! My daughter checked all the screws with the allen wrench that came with the kit and gave her dad a couple firm pats on the back followed by a kiss. It's a perfect bed for her! (make sure you read through all directions before assembling.. my husband was eager and missed a couple important details that extended the assembly time and increased the tantrum intensity!! haha)

Great bed for the price, my only complaint is that it was a little difficult to assemble, but that is probably only contributed to the fact that I was given a wrong bed slat (it comes with 2 shorter supportive slats for the middle and 8 longer slats, I was given 3 shorter slats and 7 longer slats so I had a hard time because the last slat kept falling out when I finally realized it was the wrong one, but I was still able to put it together and it is sturdy enough with 1 slat missing). Overall, great purchase for the price, the bed is too cute!

I put the bed together in about 1/2 hour...easy, all the parts were there and it is adorable and little..just right for my 3 year old grand daughter.

Most of the toddler beds I had found were plastic and just didn't look safe. This is a sturdy wood bed that I would recommend to any parent.

This bed is just the right size for our 3 year old. We got the cherry color and it looks really nice. She will be able to be in this bed for at least 3-4 years so for the price this was a great purchase for us. My husband said the assembly wasnt so easy but he and my 6 year old were able to do it so must not have been terrible.
