We wanted something cute, but were opposed to buying a princess style bed for our under 2 year old girl. This was perfect and had storage space which we really needed. My wife put this together easily over an evening. The crib mattress we already had fit exactly right. Our girl loves her big girl bed.

We really like the space at the end. We put dinosaur bookends there and dinosaur books to match his room. We added his name in dinosaur letters, and it looks great. I'm not sure that it's very soft, but he sleeps well in it.
