Designed to be handed down as an heirloom, it features a traditional arched ladder back, a contoured seat and Swelled Joint Construction that uses NO GLUE or harsh chemicals. Troutman Chair Co., established in 1924, uses sturdy oak stock from local loggers as they clear land for developing subdivisions, and does not cut trees just to make furniture. The logs are brought to the on-site mills to ensure quality control, and a link to their time-honored way of doing things.
